Life After Birth’s 6th Annual

Mother’s Retreat

Sunday, May 3rd, 2026

Join us for a nourishing half-day retreat at WUUM in Santa Monica from 10am-2pm.

Come home to yourself.

We know how hard it is to step away.

In 2026, we’re getting away with out getting away.

Join us for the 2026 Mother’s Retreat, a wellness experience designed to help you exhale, reconnect, and remember the parts of you that can get lost in the noise of daily life.

Co-hosted by Molly, Azita and Whitney (see descriptions below) this gathering invites you to pause in a space held with intention — where you’re not needed, just welcomed.

Through guided conversation, restorative practices, and thoughtful connection, we’ll reflect on the beautiful, complex, and ever-changing terrain of motherhood — the way it reshapes us, stretches us, and returns us to ourselves.

Expect nourishment, nature, and the warmth of community. No long travel. No planning stress. Just a drive away and a few hours devoted to your well-being.

Meet Your Practitioners

  • Life After Birth Founder + Clinical Director

I am a psychotherapist, yogini, and mother. My multilayered lens brings healing, integration, and transformation to the lives of birthing people. My approach is grounded in Psychodynamic Theory, and informed by over a decade of teaching yoga and meditation, as well as an ongoing exploration of Somatic Experiencing and Buddhism. I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and brings a Depth Psychological perspective to my work.

Prior to specializing in perinatal mental health, my early career as a psychotherapist was spent at drug and alcohol treatment centers. At Promises Treatment Center I was the Director of the Family Intensive Program.

My initiation into motherhood birthed a new career path for me. Due to my own experience with depression after becoming a mother, I felt called to complete the Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy training with Postpartum Support International, and have translated my passion into a specialty in my practice. In addition, I train, employe, supervise and mentor Life After Birth® Therapists.

  • Yoga & Meditation Teacher

I am a Holistic Trauma Therapist and Spiritual Life Coach, Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Author & Founder of the Trauma to Dharma Method—a healing modality for post traumatic growth.

I’ve got all the degrees, done all the training and have the damn letters behind my name, but most of all, I am a recovering human just like you. I am a sexual abuse & domestic abuse survivor and recovering love addict. I’m a wife and a mother who has navigated the path of IVF. I’m also an immigrant and the product of a revolution.

As a trauma researcher and therapist, I dove into decades of research that ultimately became a ‘me’ search. My approach was birthed out of my own trauma healing and recovery. Everything I offer comes from my lived experience and healing through my life pains and disruptions.

  • Psychologist

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a mother of two, devoted to supporting women in healing and coming home to themselves. For the past six years, I have been in private practice, where my work centers on trauma, nervous system regulation, somatic and embodiment practices, self-compassion, parts work, and intimacy.

I began my training and early career specializing in evidence-based treatments, working intimately with those suffering from PTSD, severe depression, and suicidality. That work gave me a profound window into the depth of human suffering—and it also illuminated the limits of purely cognitive approaches. It was through these experiences that I felt called to expand my work, shifting toward the nervous system, somatic healing, embodiment, and relational approaches that honor the wisdom of the body and the complexity of lived experience.

I believe healing unfolds in relationship—with ourselves, our bodies, and with others. My intention is to support my clients in feeling more connected, empowered, and authentically attuned to themselves.
